Program Information

Your Success Waits only for You

The Shepherd’s Lighthouse  assists homeless children and their mothers in Marion County . This community service provides temporary housing for up to 4 single mothers and 8 children . Since 2004 we have served 144 mothers and children and have successfully moved  135  mothers and children into independent living. To date 98  of the 135 are still living independently. We are pleased to say those that are not living independently are not homeless that are with family or firends.

Before being admitted,  the potential residents must  complete the application process with the Director and at that time make a commitment to work the program. Upon admission to the program the staff will begin ot work with the family and help guide and direct them towards their future as a independent family unit.
