Shepherd’s LightHouse, Inc.
The program at Shepherd’s LightHouse is structured to help you become a more disciplined person in every area of your life. The staff will help you in any way possible to make the transition into the program. As you are making the decision about coming to Shepherd’s LightHouse, there are a few rules you will want to consider (a complete set of rules will be furnished upon arrival).
Since our rooms and closet space are limited, you will be limited to what you can bring. What you need to bring is Enough clothing for 7 days for you and your child or children, 1 special item such as blanket, teddy bear etc that your child uses for comfort. Do not bring tolietries, toys, furniture, linens or any books, tapes, DVD's, cell phones, radios, or any items that might distract you from working this program. You will complete a checklist of belongings when you are admitted. You may be ask to surrender any items that are not appropriate.

Each resident will have daily chores to complete such as cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, cleaning the kitchen, working in the store, etc.
There is an assigned shower schedule. Baths are mandatory and can not be skipped.
Everyone participates in all activities. We attend church every Sunday.
Extra chores, restriction from privileges, essays, and even dismissal will be used as disciplinary actions, if necessary. You may be subject to dismissal from the program for the following behavior:
1. Using drugs, alcohol, or having them in your possession
2. Leaving the property without permission
3. Being continuously uncooperative
4. Not showing a sincere desire for help
Residents are not allowed to have, weapons, radios, televisions, CD players, Ipods, or MP-3 players.
All visitors must have prior approval from the Executive Director.
No Cell Phones allowed.
Smoking is not permitted on campus.

For All Potential Residents
1. Remain on campus.
2. No visitation from family or friends.
3. No personal phone calls.
4. No smoking.
5. No drug use.
6. No alcohol.
7. Participating in random drug testing.
8. All information on application must be accurate and truthful.
9. Security and safety of other residents, staff, and volunteers are maintained.
10. Respectful treatment of all residents, staff, and volunteers.
11. Compliance with all regular residents’ policies and procedures
12. Board must approve resident admission.
13. Must have a negative drug test at end of 30 day probation.
Failure to follow any one or more of the Probation Rules will result in immediate dismissal from the program.
The Executive Director may dismiss any resident from the program during this 30 day mandatory probationary period if the safety, security, and success of all of Shepherd’s Light House is threatened in any manner from the resident on the probationary period or anyone connected to the resident on probation.
